A campaign

BUT FIRST, LET ME
TAKE A SELFIE

{ LAYER 01_OBJECTIVE }
Design a poster that communicates the negative effects of social
media addiction in a bold and visually striking way. I wanted
to create a piece that would stop viewers in their tracks and spark
reflection about their relationship with digital platforms.
{ LAYER 02_PREMISE }
Design can act as a mirror to modern behavior. By using
visual systems to represent the cycle of social media addiction,
I aimed to create work that not only raises awareness but also
challenges viewers to reconsider their own digital habits.
{ LAYER 03_DESIGN APPROACH }
My approach was about balancing clarity and impact using design
to both inform and provoke. I experimented with visual metaphors
that represented endless scrolling and the cycle of overuse,
leaning on repetition and distortion to evoke overstimulation.
Color choices were intentional, reflecting both the allure of digital
platforms and the darker consequences of overconsumption.
I focused on hierarchy, ensuring the key message was clear and
legible while supporting visuals created an emotional pull.
Grid systems and alignment helped maintain structure even
within the chaotic visual language of the campaign. I also considered
how the poster could extend across different formats,
keeping scalability in mind.
